T3Flex – an active AS3/Flex-Typo3 Brigde for rapid development of rich internet applications w/Typo3
Typo3 is a good way to manage data and publish it online. In some cases you want to use/manipulate the Typo3-Data in a Flash Application or Desktop-Widget, etc.. at the same time you like to take advantage of all the comfort that comes with typo3. Think of intranet-applications where users can create news or contents directly from a desktop without a browser or the need to login. The extension “T3Flex” is providing a webservice/framework that can be called from any ActionScript3-application using a full set of ready-to-use classes and functions (read/write/add/remove).
Within the next weeks we’ll show some real world examples.
- a fully working desktop-widget for intranet
- users to edit news/events/…
- a How-To: display and modify a FE-User entry in 5 minutes
- the setup within Typo3
We created this extension from our everyday needs. Now we would like to discuss this probably new approach to Typo3 within the T3-Community. Right now, we are looking for agencies and clients who want use this framework, so we can make it more abstract and release the extensions itself.
